Last week marked the official launch of SMART AGE (Seniors’ Media Awareness & Resilience in the Digital Age), an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership in the field of adult education. This project is designed to equip older adults with the core skills to navigate a digital landscape increasingly influenced by Artificial Intelligence (AI). The work officially started following the successful first online meeting of the project team.
Over the next two years, a consortium of three partner organizations – Ljudska univerza Ormož (Slovenia), Pučko otvoreno učilište Čakovec (Croatia), and Bildungshaus Retzhof (Austria) – will collaborate to develop SMART AGE’s primary deliverable: a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) designed specifically for adults aged 60 and above.
Following a structural adjustment to the initial partnership, the consortium is actively engaging with adult education providers and key stakeholders across Belgium and Germany. This strategic outreach guarantees that this cooperative effort will maintain its broad transnational scope and achieve its originally envisioned impact.
We invite you to follow our progress and stay informed about upcoming developments and results.
Stay tuned for more!
